Our Story


The Restaurant:

As a farm to table restaurant, Lavi is a proud supporter of local farms. We share an unwavering passion for constantly sourcing fresh, local, and sustainable ingredients. A seasonal menu is offered based on the local produce that is currently thriving. We proudly grow our own herbs in the summer as we believe that fresh ingredients are an important element to every dish. Our cuisine has been dubbed New American with a strong emphasis on flavor. A flavor we are excited to deliver to our customers.

The Owner:

Khadijah (Kay) Bush has a passion for creating ideal yet functional spaces. In 2016 her talent took her to HGTV's First Time Flippers. After gathering ideas from the show and numerous projects, Kay decided to put her talent to use. By marrying warm farmhouse decor with modern ideas, Lavi was born. Come and enjoy the open kitchen, the cozy private dining room and the outside oasis. In the warmer months, take a visual tour of the herb garden.

The Chef:

Executive Chef, Aziza Young is constantly dredging up new culinary creations. Starting out as a waitress, Aziza (affectionately known as Zee), has had success in working her way up the “kitchen” ladder. After securing a spot on Fox’s Hell Kitchen in 2016, she learned a thing or two under renowned Chef Gordon Ramsey. She is often described as the Victor Frankenstein of flavors and enjoys challenging your palate. Serving up fresh food with complex ingredients is an absolute must in her kitchen.
